IPL

Intense Pulse Light treatment which gives a safe, long term solution for unwanted or excessive hair for both women and men.​​ Treatment is offered for the face and body, is quick and results can be seen after the first few sessions. A course of treatment is required and is normally taken at 4-8 week intervals to follow the hair growth cycle.

​

PLEASE NOTE: This treatment is not suitable for hair that lacks pigment or red hair and can only treat white to light asian skin colour.​​

​

How to prepare for your treatment:

  • Do not wax, pluck or use an epilator for 4 weeks prior to your treatment. You can cut the hair to the skin surface.

  • Do not use a sunbed or fake tan, we cannot treat you if you have a tan.

  • No topical creams to be applied to the skin on day of treatment.

  • Please shave the area to be treated 3-4 days prior to treatment.

  • A consultation and test patch is required.

ELECTROLYSIS

Electrolysis is the only proven permanent hair removal system. This hair removal process is suitable for most people. Depending on the area being treated, treatments are taken 1-4 weeks apart with session times between 15 - 30 minutes. Many factors influence hair growth, so you will need to return for several electrolysis visits. The time between visits will get longer as the the hair growth becomes slower.

 

How to prepare for your treatment:

  • Do not wax, pluck or use an epilator for 4 weeks prior to your treatment, you can cut or shave the area if needed

  • Do not shave or cut the hair for several days prior to your treatment

  • The hair must be visible and able to be removed with tweezers easily

  • A consultation will be given prior to treatment

WAXING

Waxing reduces hair growth when performed every four to six weeks, while shaving crops the hair at the skins surface, waxing pulls it out from the root, so it grows back softer, finer and thinner. Waxing is great for those who are fed up with the hassle of daily shaving.

How to prepare for your treatment:

  • Ditch the razor for as long as you can before your wax session, if the hair is too short it will be hard to remove

  • Exfoliate, this can remove dead skin and prepare you for the best wax experience

  • Stay out of the sun and off the sunbed. We cannot treat sunburnt skin

  • Don't exercise before your treatment, we want the skin as cool as possible

SKIN LESION REMOVAL
